Setting New Standards in Plastic Reduction and Production Efficiency with noSho’s Shoulder-Free Design & Innovative Technology
Rüti (Switzerland) – Paris (France), 19th November 2024: PackSys Global is proud to introduce noSho, a groundbreaking advancement in tube packaging, which will debut at Paris Packaging Week in January 2025. This innovation marks a significant shift in the packaging industry by eliminating traditional shoulders and caps, resulting in a reduction in plastic use and a more efficient production process as new solution in the market.
A First in the Industry. As an industry first, noSho brings a new dimension to the design and engineering of cosmetic tubes. This innovative approach aligns with growing regulatory demands, such as the European Union's Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR), while catering to the evolving needs of partners and customers who prioritize both efficiency and environmental sustainability.
For the first time, PackSys Global has fully integrated closure design aspects directly into our tube head design, marking a significant evolution in our decades of expertise in tube manufacturing. While we have often collaborated on closure innovations, this project represents a new milestone: creating and patenting our own design alongside an advanced approach to tube manufacturing.
At Paris Packaging Week, attendees will have the opportunity to experience physical samples of noSho firsthand, exploring the future of sustainable tube packaging. Additionally, 3D representations of various noSho solutions will be on display, demonstrating its versatility across multiple market segments and applications for our customers.
Innovative Features and Benefits: noSho design eliminates the need for separate shoulders and caps, resulting in a lighter and more streamlined tube that reduces plastic consumption while simplifying production. By minimizing component and process dependencies, noSho helps lower overall costs and materials used in manufacturing. This innovative design not only supports eco-friendly practices but also enhances production efficiency, enabling manufacturers to optimize processes while meeting current environmental standards.
Global Launch Coming at K-Show 2025 with a clear Road Map: The official global launch of noSho will be in Paris, and the real LIVE demo will take place at K-Show 2025 in Düsseldorf, where PackSys Global will unveil this new packaging solution to a worldwide audience in a “live” way. The samples presented in Paris will be the first step in showcasing noSho’s potential, with a variety of designs being developed to meet the needs of different markets. Our aim is to offer adaptable solutions that reflect the diverse demands of our customers and industries around the world.
“Less Plastic, More Efficiency”: The core message behind the noSho launch is clear: Less Plastic, More Efficiency. This guiding principle will shape our campaign as we continue to introduce packaging solutions that are lightweight, shoulder-free, and designed for optimized production. noSho represents a significant step towards creating packaging that minimizes environmental impact while enhancing production capabilities.
PackSys Global invites the industry to join us at Paris Packaging Week for an exclusive preview of this exciting innovation in sustainable packaging.
